Flying ZRH-LIS on Swiss this Wednesday at 12.50 - I am coming from a meeting by Zurich HB which starts at 10.30, so will hop on a train as soon as I am done, probably one that gets in around 11.50 to the airport.
I will have my boarding card in hand (in biz and *G too), am an EU passport-holder, hand-luggage only.
What is the very latest I can show up at the airport and still be allowed to get the flight? I cannot find precise info anywhere, other than that the airline check-in closes 30 mins prior for bizclass. Is this my cut-off point?
Thanks
Michael

obviously I am not from Swiss.... but my two cents are that as long as you can make boarding, you'll be fine. You will have access to priority security and there's no passport control for LIS.
If you arrive at the train station 30 minutes before departure you "should" be OK. Just don't get the idea of doing duty free shopping and stuff... go straight to the gate (you may have to walk german style (i.e. fast) ;)

Dear Michael
If you arrive at the airport at 11.50, you will be fine for a 12.50 departure.
If you can make boarding, you will be allowed to take the flight, no matter when you arrive at the airport. There is no "cut-off" time in place at Zurich airport where you will not be allowed airside anymore after a certain limit, but it is your responsibility to be at the gate on time before boarding closes.
We do not publish (or guarantee) any "airport arrival time" other than the latest check-in time, so I strongly reccomend that you are at the airport check-in hall and ready to pass security at that time. Depending on the length of the security queues and your gate location, you will not have a lot of spare time with those 30 minutes.
Kind regards, and have a pleasant and safe trip to Portugal later this week,
Gianrico
