Hyatt Gold Passport - Hawaii Island Hopper Rate/suite club access

My fiancee and I booked our honeymoon over the phone, we're staying 5 nights at HR Waikiki, 5 nights at GH Kauai and 5 nights at HR Maui. Our HR Waikiki room is booked under the "Island Hopper Rate", the GH Kauai is booked using points (in a suite) and the HR Maui is a suite upgrade using points. In looking online, the only info I can find about the "Island Hopper Rate" is a promotion from 2009 that includes breakfast for 2 for every morning in the hotel. I just wanted to check with people on here to confirm that this promo is still going on and that we should expect to get a free breakfast buffet with the HR Waikiki room. Since we're going so extravagant with our honeymoon, we're trying to somewhat budget our food, and the 5 included breakfasts would add up.

Also, does anyone know if the suites in Kauai and Maui include access to the regency club at these properties?
Thanks!

I seem to recall seeing a Hopper package, but can't find it using this link.

http://www.hyatt.com/hyatt/resorts/hawaii/

But, it appears that all the packages include breakfast, so I wouldn't worry about it. How does the rate compare to other rates that include breakfast? Did they tell you what else it might include?

Re: the suites. The last I checked the suites in Kauai do not include club access unless you're a diamond.

BUT - I would check online and see what the best rate you can get. Often AAA rates include buffet breakfast. The packages sometimes are more costly.

The rate is actually a decent amount lower than the other rates that include breakfast, and very close to the rates that don't include breakfast, which is why I'm somewhat concerned.

I am hopeful they'll let us do a Diamond Status Challenge. Since we have 15 nights already booked and 3 more most likely at Hyatt in San Francisco after, we would not have any issue completing the challenge. It would be really nice to get those bonus points and club access, and the diamond suite certs would be gravy on top

Call them back and check. Try to get it in writing on your confirmation. If the rate is that much lower, and you can't get a description of the package anywhere, get it in writing.

It's been my experience that if the breakfast is not in the rate details described on the website when you compare various rates, it will be a tough argument to get it inclusive to your rate.

On the up side, I've stayed at the GH Kauai and booked with two different rates (one with breakfast and one without). (split stays with an award booking in between) They comped breakfast on all the paid stays. Quite nice of them.

We were able to sign up for the diamond challenge, so breakfast at the club will be included at a minimum. I'm hoping we get the full breakfast included with the island hopper rate, but if not, it's not the end of the world. I'll let you all know what the outcome is. This is the original island hopper rate info:

It's hard to say what the actual benefits will be since the description says the rate expired in 2009.

You may want to let sleeping dogs lie, but I'd be concerned about not having a current T&C for the rate you're using.

In particular, I read the 2009 details as saying that you must use the Island Hopper rate at TWO different properties for a total of at least SEVEN days. The stays at other hotels with a different rate plan or using points would not seem to count under the offers cannot be combined clause. The hotel could, in a worst case scenario, give you the rack rate when you show up with a reservation for a rate for which you do not qualify.

We have 5 nights booked at HR Waikiki and 5 nights at HR Maui, both under the same rate (although the HR Maui rate shows in our account as a suite upgrade), so we'd meet the 7 day requirement.

I'm a bit concerned about the non-current T&C, but I'd like to hope they wouldn't screw over a Diamond on her honeymoon, especially when it was a phone CSR that processed the booking, but I guess you never know.
