Etihad Airways Etihad Guest - Gross incompetence: Missing miles claim for flight taken on partner airlines (AA)

I flew AA in Dec-Jan and quoted my Etihad Guest number. In the first week of March since i had not recieved my miles i initiated a missing miles claim by e-mailing them my e-tkt and scannede copy of the BP for the 4 sectors i had flown (Del-ORD, ORD-CUN, MEM-ORD, ORD-DEL).

Its been over 4 months since i initiated the claim and i have only recieved the miles for 2 of the sectors. This is after at least 15-20 follow up calls to their India and UAE call centers. The problem is that the call center executives dont have the authority to add partner miles and the Etihad guest service team dont seem to respond to their e-mails. Every time that i ask them the reason they say that they have not yet recieved a revert from AA but i find it very surprising that AA has reverted on 2 of the sectors (one onward and one return) but not the other 2.

Any tips on how i can pursue this or a person that i can e-mail and escalate this issue to would be very helpful.

Got the same issue as you, Etihad wouldn't do anything so luckily i just made an AA card and they helped me a lot and gave me the miles on it.

I just think they are absolutely useless at EY for crediting partner miles. I am still waiting for partner miles to past from trips I took in January. They first claimed my business class tickets didn't qualify for partner crediting even though there were a higher class than other business class fares that did credit. After 3+ months they told me I was right my tickets did qualify for credit and that they would credit the miles.

As of a month ago nothing had yet credited. I emailed them mid-June and JUST received a respond today, a full month later, that they are still working on it.

I also used a triple-mile promotion EY had for staying at the Atlantis. My stay was back in February, and only 1x the miles has posted, not the 3x promotion. I have been trying to deals with that with no luck. Atlantis keeps telling me they forwarded the miles to EY.

This really is a complete joke. Having to wait 6+ months to get mileage credits and taking a full month to respond to an email is insane.
