US Airways Dividend Miles - Policy with FAs using cell phones?

Yesterday afternoon I flew SFO-CLT and I was seated at the exit row near 2R. The second we landed at CLT, the FA seated at 2R pulled out his phone, and made quite a loud phone call while we were taxing to the gate. Is there a rule against this? I found it a tad unprofessional.

A little off topic, but the lead FA making the announcements somehow forgot to make the landing announcements in CLT, and another FA had to say it. After she was done, the lead made a second landing announcement. Both FAs said "Welcome to Philadelphia" before correcting themselves. Odd.

I don't believe there is a FAR about it. As for Company policy I will let Galley or flight62 answer.

I think its rude when people talk during the demo announcement too. I would love to go and see what those people do for a living just to talk during their speeches.... Its unprofessional for business persons to be inconsiderate of their seatmates.... Its unprofessional to be rude to someone who is doing their job.... Unprofessional is sooo many things....

It happens... I forget where we just landed... I forget to make announcements... I take over announcements from time to time... It happens people arent perfect...

Mainline policy is that cell phones can be used after landing while taxiing to the gate.

I seem to recall a memo about not using cell phones while working on the airplane but I can't remember where it is. Regardless, some crew members are just tacky period.

The arrival announcement is made by the A f/a on all but the widebodies. Sounds like an impatient f/a in the back and the one up front was chatting with the other f/a and didn't make the announcement fast enough.
