I am flying back on Sept 10 from Hong Kong to SFO CX in F. The flight leave HK at 2:05pm. Can someone tell me which would be the best lounge a few hours? Thanks

Use the pier for first class lounge. Otherwise I would use the cabin as the food is very good there

I expect SFO will depart from gates 1-4 or 21. If you don't want to do any long walking, go to The Cabin (Both J and F) which is a 5 minute walk from gates 1-4. The Cabin has an IT Zone with windows and mac systems, an iPad which the staff at the front desk have available on hand to lend to you, frshly squeezed juice, freshly made sandwiches and smoked cold cuts. (Which is why Love The Cabin in terms of food choice.) The Wing is infront of gates 1-4 but at the moment, only the J section is open. They have noodle soups and both western and asian dishes.

Honestly, I really don't find the buffet offering in the F lounge that appealing. That could change though once the F section of The Wing reopens. Cheers.

I'd probably go against this...still think the new, renovated Wing J lounge beats the Pier F by a wide margin. And if not the Wing, I'd do for the Cabin, which even though it's not technically an F lounge either I think it's better than the Pier F (and they have more western comfort food, like warm paninis and salads). Plus the night flight to SFO nearly always leaves from gates 1-4 or 21, all of which are right next to the Wing and Cabin.

The Wing J is the best until the The Wing F opens :)

So don't even bother with Pier J/F lounge?

Cabin sucks gets well overcrowded and F Pier is best if you want to eat before you fly

I sometimes pass the lounge alltogether and head straight to the food court.
