As part of the Big Night Giveaway promo, my husband and I each booked nights at this hotel (each did one check-in so that we both got the points). Rooms were very clean-bedroom was standard hotel size, bathroom was a bit small. Shower is rain shower type, but they have this weird set-up to turn it on and off that makes it tough to turn shower on without getting your hair wet.
Club Carlson members get a free drink coupon good for a glass of wine, beer, or mixed drink at the bar. They have complimentary veggies and dip and cheese cubes/crackers out in the bar from 5 to 7 PM. When my husband checked in, desk clerk gave him a hard time when he requested a drink coupon for each of us as Club Carlson members, but he got busy on the phone and relented.
Sleep number beds-interesting concept-slept well. I am Club Carlson Gold (status match) and my husband has basic membership-my check-in got us a slightly larger desk in the room, but that is about it. Hotel was pretty full last night-they are close to Great Adventure. Rates are not the lowest (we paid $125 AAA rate)
