It seems there is enough demand from JP tourists to go to KRN in winter:

SK984 NRT-CPH has been rerouted to KRN on selected dates during the winter 2012-2013 program. As a result of this, a small number of passengers are rebooked.

Rebookings

Passengers originally booked on above rerouted SK operated flights have been involuntarily rerouted to other SK operated flights the day before.

Missing connections in Scandinavia to be rebooked in same class or lowest available booking class in same service class as originally booked.

Responsible selling office must contact passengers and inform about the involuntary rerouting and are responsible to rebook passengers to final destination.
Involuntary rerouting to other SAS International operated flights

Passengers may be involuntarily rerouted to other SK operating flights within validity of the ticket. Rebooking must be done in the same booking class or lowest available booking class in the same service class as originally booked.
Refund

If alternative rerouting made by SK is not accepted by passenger, refund of issued SK/117-ticket with SK fares is permitted.

Mrs. Swede and I visited the Ice Hotel back in December 1999. Half of the hotel was occupied by Japanese tourists. There was a Japanese student (who had been studying in Sweden) providing guided tours.

They believe that if they procreate during Northern Lights then the get gifted children. :rolleyes: Maybe local entrepeneurs should open some Love Hotels up in the tundra.

That is kind of annoying.... I need the NRT CPH route on the 23rd of Dec, so no direct flight for me :-(

The reroutings are fortunately not as frequent as summer reroutings for SK 984. It seems that SK984 all Saturdays in July and August are rerouted to BGO.

JTB, or another travel agency must be bulk buying for tour groups... They still need to ferry the plane to CPH. SK983 on Fridays leaves about an hour earlier, I guess that is to get time to get the plane back to CPH.
