Hi,
I am currently on a lufthansa RTW ticket and my booking class on Lufthansa is L and Air NZ is G. My fare basis in LNCNZ. I was hoping to get *A gold with Aegean, however they wont credit points for this class. I also havea Krisflyer and ASIANA freqent flyer, but they wont credit them either. I want to know if there is a frequent flyer program which i could join which i could keep all the points, or do something with them so i do not lose them all.
Many thanks

Is this a special kind of RTW ticket?
I ask because under the *A Special Economy Class RTW (max. 26k miles) the booking class would be H class for both LH and NZ.

LH L longhaul earns 100% on MileagePlus. NZ G earns nothing - put it somewhere else.

Assuming that your information about the fare class earnings are correct, have you looked at TK? Are you trying to get *Gold (and hence the interest in Aegean) or just to eventually get a minor award ticket? I would think that an important criterion would be to credit to a FF program where the miles won't expire or at least can be kept alive easily and cheaply. You might also find it important that the FF program permits one way award tickets at half the miles.

I booked the ticket through STA travel, i am not sure if it is anything special, i just got it for a really good price.
If i put it half in LH, then where could i put the NZ, i dont think i could put it in OZ FF or SQ FF?
I was initially hoping to get * Gold with Aegean, but since i cannot, i would like to get anything for the points, rather than them going to waste.

Your challenge is "really good price" does not always equal ticket(s) that are eligible for mileage accrual.

this i know, however, since there is a wealth of knowledge here, i was hoping that someone would brighten up my day, seeing as it is cold and wet here in Katowice

It sounds as if you purchased one of those Air New Zealand Special RTW tickets which have various routing/airline/booking class restrictions, but in return can often be had for <$1500 all-in.
To the best of my knowledge NZ booking class "G" is excluded from earning miles with all FFs, you can only earn a very few NZ Airpoints.
Similarly, LH booking class "L" is one of the lowest booking classes and earns no/limited miles with most FFs, the notable exception being UA MP where you earn 100%.
P.S. Btw, you can credit each egment to a different FF if you want to.
