Hertz - Advice on Hertz reward points redemption

Good day,

I'm hoping you all may have some advice:

I have 1,450 points in my account. In December, my family is traveling to Colorado for the week and we'd like to rent a full size SUV for 8 days (12/21-12/28 out of DEN).

However, the CSR told me that for that class of vehicle, I need a minimum of 1,800 points in my account for two days free. There are no one-day options for 900 points nor any other way I can apply my points to this rental.

Is that true? I'm a bit frustrated that there appear to be no options. But, I figured the FT community may have some advice on how (if) I could apply them to this trip.
