Hi, I had 3309 points in my account prior to my stay last weekend. After my stay, I now only have 91 points. The stay was booked at a AAA rate and it came to $89.10. I also was in the Big night giveaway promo - but I didn't expect that to post right away. I booked it online, so I would think I would at least get the bonus for that too. I am really unfamiliar with this program, I did email customer service right away...but so far no reply.
Anyone have something like this happen to them? Is there something else I should do besides emailing?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a computer glitch. Write to them and ask why.

This is not exactly on point, but my sister had a stay that she booked online. Completed her stay, no points. In fact, her reservation did not even show in past reservations. She called member services and was told that they know they have a certain glitch if you search the site, get out of the site, and come back in to book. (best I understood from the third hand story). However, they fixed it for her over the phone right then and there. She said it was painless, so you may want to just call.

Well a definite d'oh moment. I still had my earning preference as airline miles. So once I hit 50,000 points - they converted my balance over to a whopping 6,... AA miles. NOT what I wanted at all. Really stupid. No way to reverse it according to the rep. A cautionary tale for future reference.
