Similar price from BOS, availability seems to be better than from LGA.

If you fly on 10/17, return 10/23 or 25, you can route on the outbound JFK-BRU-DUB with the BRU-DUB portion on EI for $429 a/i, return would still be DUB-ORD-LGA. A little bit fewer miles, but if you want to vary it a little...

I think this fare just broke my AA booking. Dammit.

On DL, you can add a 23 h stop in NCE, VCE, LHR, BCN, MAD, AMS, or LIN for marginal cost. Looks like you can actually add 23 h stops in two of those cities.

AA is not showing any AA flights on the bos-dub or jfk-dub routing right now....weird.

Any way to actually fly this at this price in late Aug/early Sept? I've got some family members who want to go to Europe around Labor Day. Travel seems to be allowed during that time period, but I don't see any seats.

My observation has been that routing via Europe and connecting to EI has better availability at this particular fare.

Respectfully disagree with those upset about calling in this case (although I agree that in the case of a mistake fare, fuel dump or the like, of course you don't call). This is a good fare, but by no means a great fare. To me, it did not appear to be a mistake at all; I spent sufficient time looking through available dates and times and found there was a range of fares, many within $20 to $30 of each other.

The funny part is that when I called and the agent priced my tickets, he came back with a fare that was $30 less per ticket for the identical flights.

I booked 11/22, 11/25, 11/26. But again, these are widely available on DL throughout September, October, and November.

Getting close for ex-JFK at $522 but if I had a known low price to work with ex-JFK then I could go ahead and get to work attaching MSY to the itinerary. My service keeps going in or out or I wouldn't ask for help when such a large clue has been planted already by Adam's extremely helpful post. But if you would like to PM me with more details or hints, believe me, I'd be thrilled to listen.

UGH - having trouble doing a weekend on AA.
ITA had availability with Fri outbound and Sun return in October in the $575 range. Couldn't replicate it on any OTA but was able to do it on AA.com for during the week, just not the weekend.

Same thing happened to me earlier in the week - could find a trip on ITA that seemed drop 1/2 of the YR on AA (using a mixed AA/BA itinerary) but then couldn't book it anywhere. At least this time I saw it on AA. :mad:

Well, it isn't my friend. It took almost 2 minutes just now to log into flyertalk. I can no longer use Keanu at this location. I never get a result. The page just never loads. It simply times out. I didn't want to get too explicit but that's why I asked for a clue by PM or if it's OK to discuss out loud in the thread, that's fine too as far as I'm concerned. I already understood the stopover needs to be less than 24 hours from the hint but I guess it's OK to be more explicit about that stuff? I don't normally just ask for a plug in but I'm not sure what else to do. At this time I am simply not getting fast enough service to spend a lot of time re-doing something already accomplished. Am always happy to help out when I am able to do so. So if anyone wants to PM me with an actual itinerary, it would be most appreciated. If not, not. But there is no use saying that I can run my own search, as I would have already done so and never asked the question if I was able to do so.

I've found the fares simply using the US Airways website. There looks to be plenty of availability from BOS/JFK/EWR to DUB.

Maybe I just randomly happened on dates that work? Veteran's Day is a holiday for me, so I'm looking around then (mid-Nov). There's plenty of availability for Thurs/Fri outbound and Mon/Tues returns.

Right now, most of US PHX-Europe is showing right around $800 for that weekend.

Columbus Day is a holiday for me... so I got into on a quick Friday-Monday trip on AA/BA... yeah EI was a few bucks cheaper, but the extra miles/lounge access is nice :D

Booked two of these on US Airways for mid-November MRs.
Found LGA-CLT-BWI-PHL-DUB available both ways for around 4.72cpm, but only booked LGA-CLT-PHL-DUB because of placement flight timing and getting to/from NYC.

P.S. When selecting the return flight be sure to look at ALL the available flight options before automatically selecting the lowest. A pleasant surprise will await your eyes ;)

The Aer Lingus segments is booked in X.. you can earn 25% Avois for it.. or about 140 miles Roundtrip.

Agreed. This fare comes around every year. It was always CO that offered from EWR first, and then DL followed.

Just got 2 tix for JFK-LHR-DUB and return for SEP 20-25 on AA/EI for $414 each. Cancelled my DL non-stop reservation to help get me retain AA GLD next year.

There are some cheap flights MSP-ORD on UA, so I picked up a fight MSP-ORD (UA), ORD-LHR (AA), LHR-DUB (EI) for $610 ai....

I booked JFK-CDG-DUB for $450 (less a voucher) 9/27-10/1 on AF metal. That routing gives me 2k more MQM than the nonstop, and enough to get PM before my JFK-IST trip so the $99 I paid for EC will be refunded. :)

Short layovers in Paris which has little impact on my time in Dublin. First time I'll be there.

Edit: have not seen a good thread on A380-800 seating. DL's website of course doesn't show the right seat map. :rolleyes:

You have to watch 19F because the door slightly protrudes in all of that potential leg space. The two seats in front (Row 18) are fantastic. I'm 6'5'' so for me on a long flight they are more of a necessity.

Got this about a week ago for the end of Nov: LGA ATL DUB AMS CDG BCN JFK with a 23 hour stopover in CDG. $487 and 10,024 MQM's. Tempted to grab another for Jan/Feb.

Is this still available? I see US airways for $484 now, but would really like to get DL if possible (especially for $387). Looking in October, fairly flexible.
