Alitalia MilleMiglia - Night Special: 15% Off Alitalia Flights Booked Tonight

15% off tickets booked online between 20:00 on 11th July and 08:00 on 12th July, in economy or business (not premium economy) for travel between 20th August and 30th November 2012.

Seems to apply in at least the UK and German markets - I haven't checked others. It appears they're not publishing the special offer code until 20:00.

It's nice of AZ to keep on doing these special offers. However, just one night (let alone three hours (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alitalia-millemiglia/1363618-anyone-else-get-15-off-email-after-sale-already-over.html), like the previous one...) seems a bit short notice to actually research and book a trip. The earlier weekend deal (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alitalia-millemiglia/1347653-special-offer-20-off-az-flights-booked-weekend.html) was much better.

That said, I guess if you're considering booking an Alitalia trip (and have missed the current offer), it's worth waiting for a few days to see if another special offer period comes along...

The kicker: This time KLM flights seem to be included too! At least I am able to go past the point where the booking engine would give up before with the 20% discount. I have not yet tried to actually book such fare though.

It seems this time (at least for UK and DE) you have to sign up to their mailing list, in order to access the special offer code.

Which I don't mind in principle - but as I'm already signed up to the AZ mailing list (and hence receiving notification of these offers), I don't particularly want to be signed up twice and get duplicate copies of everything!

For me it shows the code? At the first main page it has an ad for the sale, when you click on that it has a page with the code at the top: http://alitalia.com/DE_DE/special_offers/promo_night_special.aspx

Perhaps its a caching issue. Maybe it helps if you explicitly hit the refresh button to get the latest version of the page with the code included?

Unfortunately, I'm not currently in a position to make use of it. Hopefully there'll be a similar offer in a couple of weeks.

As for booking KL metal, I was ready to book and the dreaded message indicating the flights are not available appeared again. I played around a bit and it seems that you can use the code when all segments are either:

- AZ flight numbers
- Discounted, but not deep-discounted, KL coded flights

In other words, flights that have G or R space available on KLM cannot be used together with the coupon (voids the whole itinerary). However flights booked into N or higher will be possible.

Confirmed. Just ticketed an all-KLM itinerary with 15% discount from the klm.com price :)
