Cow appreciation day. Wear a cow costume and eat free. Extra credit for anyone using metal DL diamond vanity tags as cow bells.

A 'John 3:16' cow costume gets 3X credit.

Void where prohibited.

Not until you see people dressed like a cow on Delta flights on Friday to get their free Chick-Fil-A... at which point I hope to see plenty of DYKIAC (don't you know I'm a cow) photos in this thread!

Bonus points if the pax dressed as a cow is a DM with cowbells proudly displayed! :)

The only reason to eat there that day would be to prevent some of their profits from going to hate groups.

I'd love to see people going through TSA in realistic cow costumes.

As Delta has taught you, Atlanta is the center of the universe. As Chick-Fil-A is based in Atlanta this news is something that is at the center of the universe and is therefore tangential Delta news as well.

Do you think it will count for drive-thru???

^^^

My first thought was that I can finally try Chik-Fil-A and not support them financially in doing so.

So... at risk of starting a furor... what "hate groups" do their profits go to? I know they are a very religious corporation (all locations are closed on Sunday), and I know they donate a lot of money to traditional family values based charities (some will read anti-gay into that), but I would ask what "hate groups" they help fund?

So, when people disagree with your point of view, are they a "hate group"? If so, then that is too bad. Whatever happened to tolerance for all points of view?

I eat at C-F-A when I visit Southern California (Santa Ana). I think they are okay and I don't get too bothered by the fact that they close on Sundays.

What I don't like is that they use a lot of plastic packaging. It wouldn't take much to use something a bit more enviro friendly. I have been meaning to send corporate a comment but it hasn't been high on my to do list.

we were on the road (literally - driving 7 hours down I81) on Friday and stopped at a Chik-Fil-A in Virginia as it is the lesser evil of McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's etc. Freakin' (and I use that term very deliberately!) hilarious. Place was absolutely jam packed with people dressed like chickens. Thought we'd walked into a comedy twilight zone.

CFA really do a good job of the fast food world I have to give them credit
