So, I'm going to Australia for the first time next week. I arrive in SYD on Sunday and am free Sunday and Tuesday evening. I'd enjoy meeting up with someone interested in sharing a walk, beer, dinner, etc. Having never been, I'd love to take advantage of some local knowledge rather than wondering around like a tourist.

I'm an early 30's male - if that's important.

I live in Melbourne - too many miles away to meet up.

There are a quite a few Sydney residents who may be interested.

Maybe you should get this thread renamed "Sydney meet up? - Sunday 15th or Tuesday 17th

The Sydney crowd is great... one of my greatest memories is an impromptu dinner with many Sydney FTers when I was in Sydney... they do love their prawns on the buffet... :) oh yeah, and beer... :)

So you think you will still be up Sunday night after arrival, more power to you if you are

Australia is huge, you are going to one city, might want to fix that title as well as maybe put in a date

If you are going to Australia, you should signup for an account on Australian Frequent Flyer. Here is the link:

It's just like using Flyertalk, but, with more beer. Remember, drive on the other side of the road.
