Aegean Airlines Miles&Bonus - Weekend trip suggestion for 1400 miles, from CPH?
In four weeks I have a few intercontinental flights coming up. Before that I'd like to seal the deal with A3. Technically I should have been A3*G already, but problems with Spanair miles (that credited over a year after the flight and therefore were not counted as tier miles) and SWISS miles (that LX posted to the M&M number on the booking rather than the A3 number on the boarding pass) prevented it from happening yet. I am now a little less than 1400 miles short of A3*G. Does anyone have a suggestion for a nice yet affordable weekend trip originating from CPH (or MMX) sometime this month that yields at least 1400 miles?

If you can get decently priced 100% earning ticket, both SPU and DUB is just enough far away (850 resp 774 miles). SK flies to both non-stop. (just note that fewer fare earns 100% on M&B than on EB)

Play around with some LH fares as you can get 100% earning on some of the affordable routes. Maybe Dublin/Manchester/Rome/Milan or similar.

Before investing money in this plan, be sure to read information regarding when A3 issues new *Gold cards, how long it takes to receive the physical card, and whether printouts of your account showing the new status suffice for various purposes.

Here: SWISS Best offers (http://booking.swiss.com/web/bba.htm?i=NYE1&g=2)
Just book any ticket with a connection in ZRH or GVA on both ways and you will get at least 2000mi (at least 500mi minimum / segment).
