Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - Where to credit MH miles?

Hello all,

I'm bound to fly KIX-KUL or NRT-KUL in October and I was wondering, since MH is not yet a OneWorld member yet, if there is any other airline that accepts MH miles? Sometimes there are some special agreements between airlines... So I was hoping to accrue these miles on either a StarAliance or a OneWorld airline....

Any hope?

You could try crediting into ANA (NH), they are star alliance.

At the moment, MH is a SkyMiles partner of DL for both accrual and redemption. DL is SkyTeam.

Yeah, credit it on Delta. Those stupid MH Miles are worthless otherwise. I just let my miles rot.

Best to credit to DL Skymiles. But note that there are some fares that do not qualify to earn miles. Check what the booking class is first!

And hang on to your BP and copy of ticket with fare basis .. MH is notorious for not crediting flights.

MH isn't but NH (ANA) is and is a mileage partner. So is Virgin Atlantic (VS).

I know MH is not *A, the OP was asking if he could credit MH miles into a *A airline. :)

Actually my question was a bit dumb... I have a few FF memberships within all the alliances, just in case but none will take the MH miles, as far as I know. I guess I was just trying my luck here.

For Skyteam I only have AF/KL.
For OW I only have CX
And for StarAlliance SQ, A3 and LX (which I'm leaving as soon as I get the missing miles for a redemption and clear my mileage).

Looks like nothing can be done at this time... Oh well....

You can earn MH files on AF/KL (Flying Blue I believe)
