Southwest Rapid Rewards - Funny sight at DAL(Southwest Airlines)

was lining up today along the window to board a WN flight this morning in Dallas. I was watching one of the tarmac workers dealing with some boxes to be loaded in the belly of a WN plane.
I saw that they had "fresh seafood" and "keep refrigerated" printed on them. He picked up one of the boxes and tossed it into a baggage trailer. I must have been wet on the bottom, because 2 live crabs fell out onto the floor as he tossed the box. He didn't know what to do with them, look afraid to touch them, and as I boarded the plane he was still down there trying to figure out what to do with them.

Let's start a pool. Number of posts before mention of FA's or Kettles. Not counting this one or referrals to it. Incorporating both gets special consideration.
I'll start: 8, 11, 12

I think this proves that Southwest is shifting their model and offering crab to the A 1-29 passengers.
First RR 2.0, and now THIS?!?

Well, you could probably get those two crabs into a medium-sized kettle...

This should come as no surprise since Sandy Cheeks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_SpongeBob_SquarePants_characters) is from Texas...

Crabs most likely coming from Corpus. I have a place near Corpus and they ship lots of crabs to Baltimore. Also for what its worth those scallops you guys are eating up North at Chinese buffets if they look all the same size are actually cookie cutter sting-ray meat. Beware of "Skallops"

the crabs were on their way to Seattle, according to the label. i thot it was strange to be sending fresh seafood from dallas to seattle!

Those crabs must have been steamed!

Quite a bit of the seafood sold in Seattle restaurants and shops isn't native to the area. Blue Crabs for instance are likely coming from the Gulf.
Highly perishable items like fresh live seafood and flowers typically do a lot of airfreight.
