China - 60-minute Connection at PVG on China Eastern

China Eastern has changed a flight, leaving me with a 60-minute connection at PVG (connecting onto a second China Eastern flight). Throught Vayama, I am waiting to hear from the airlline about this change and whether this is a possible or impossible connection time.

Anyone have experience with this?

I entered PVG 64 minutes from flight time for an international flight. Our flight was boarding (and late) by the time we got to the gate. I've never connected through PVG to know what it's like.

Where are coming from and going to? 60 minutes is tight, but many international flights arrive early, and many domestic flights depart late. Furthermore, some of the latter have numerous flights per day.

International to Domestic?
T1 to T2? T2 to T2?

Sorry, Everyone,

My first flight is Seoul (ICN) to Shanghai (PVG), arrival late morning.

My second flight is PVG to JFK, which leaves at about noon.

Both flights are on China Eastern. When I bought, the second flight left 1 hr 40 min to connect; tight but certainly doable. Now, at 60 minutes, I am very antsy. I guess I'll aplogetically cut lines and it should be okay.

I am still waiting to hear, through Vayama.com, from China Eastern. However, there is only one flight daily to JFK, and they don't fly to WAS or Boston, which could work for me.

I've built up a lot of positive travel karma, so I guess I'll rely on that....

That seems rather tight if you ask me since you'll likely have to clear customs. But you may get lucky and get a MU escort through the transfer hall and they can radio you all the way through. Do you have backup options that MU could rebook you on?
