Hong Kong and Macau - Turbojet Ferry from Hong Kong to Guanghouz

I'm sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong place but it looked like the best bet to me.
Does anyone have any experience in catching the Turbojet ferry from the Hong Kong-China Ferry Terminal in Kowloon to get to Guanghouz? I searched online and believe I found the correct route which would take me to the Nansha Ferry Terminal but am confused as to whether this is the same as Panyu.
Also I wanted to make sure that I don't have to catch the ferry at the Hong Kong airport upon arrival as I am staying one night in Kowloon. I know many of the ferries to Macau require you to embark directly from your flight to the ferry desk at the airport.
Thanks!

Hi chiproos, since you mentioned that you'll b in Kowloon for the night, I think taking the train from Hung Hum station to guangzhou east station would be better. Besides if I remember correctly, turbojet operates out of shun tak at central side, I may be wrong though.
Btw Nansha & Panyu is the same.

I think there's a better home for your inquiry on FT: Hong Kong and Macau Forum (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hong-kong-macau-436/)
I am sure you can ask MOD to move this thread over.

There are fewer and fewer ferry services from Hong Kong (not including HKG) to China now, with the high fuel cost and better highways and land border crossings. There are only a few sailings a day from Kowloon or HK Island to Panyu, and they are not run by Turbojet.
There are two ports - Nan Sha and Lian Hua Shan - in Panyu, and neither that close to Guangzhou proper. Most of the remaining sailings call at both. Just cheaper and easier to take a coach or train.
Also, once you go through immigration to enter HK, you can no longer take a ferry from the Skypier at HKG.

Yes as mentioned in previous posts, the train from Hung Hom is your best direct bet. There's very limited boats now from HKG, most people take the train these days. Here's the info on the train from Hung Hom (http://www.it3.mtr.com.hk/b2c/frmIndex.asp?strLang=Eng).
If you're further in Kowloon / New Territories you can also take the East Rail line to Lowu and change in Shenzhen to the high speed train. I did a post about that here. (http://hktravelblog.com/2012/07/shenzhen-to-guangzhou-guangzhou-to-shenzhen/) It's a little cheaper than taking it from Hung Hom and you don't need to backtrack if you're relatively closer to China. e.g. Kowloon Tong / Shatin etc. Plus it's always cool to ride high-speed trains.

Please be careful when referring the train from the regular "Shenzhen" station (right at the Lowu/Luohu border) to GZ-East or GZ as high speed. While they use high-speed train set, it is regional semi-high speed only, going up to 250km/h. This is the train that most should take from HK to GZ, since it is very very frequent and quick.
Don't confuse with the true HS line which currently runs from SZ-North to GZ-S and/or GZ-N and continues to Wuhan. This is NOT convenient for those just going from HK to GZ.
