Fun post time.

I fly nowhere near as much as many folks on here. Who else keeps statistics on flightmemory? I'd be interested to hear other flyers' statistics. Lifetime, I'm at:

627,145 miles
418 USAirways flights
55 occurences of PBI-CLT (yet only 46 CLT-PBI)
567 flights
100 airports
271 routes*
Longest flight - 7156 miles; shortest - 68 miles

*Flightmemory counts each direction of travel as a separate route.

I love flightmemory!! Its fun to see the maps and the stats of other people. I'll be crossing the 100k mi threshold later this summer (all leisure travel). I only had my flight info for the last 5 years tho... too bad I can't remember all the other flights I took as a kid!

I got a map printed last summer and it turned out well! I have it hanging up in my office. :) Will have a few more Transpac routes in the next 6 months.

I'm also a huge fan of FlightMemory. I update all my travels on there and am looking forward to (eventually) picking a time to get a map.

Flightmemory is a great website. Am slowly trying to add in the flights I can remember from my childhood, but the statistics are current since 1996.

699,515 miles traveled
561 total flights
234 unique routes (most flown is PHX-ORD at 37 times, ORD-PHX at 33 times)
79 airports
19 countries

Top airports:
PHX - 242
ORD - 164
SFO - 75
PHL - 62
LHR - 58
CLT - 42

US Airways + US Airways Express (including pre-merger HP) account for 55% of my flights. Add United and United Express and that percentage increases to 73%.

Longest flight: LX ZRH-GRU at 5,977mi
Shortest flight: US ABE-PHL at 55mi (exlcuding my CLT-CLT A319 flight that failed to pressurize after takeoff en route to ABE)

I wish I'd learned about Flightmemory decades ago. I only have my data in there since mid-May 2010. Here's the stats since then:

190,956 miles traveled
152 total flights
32 airports
8 countries

Delta accounts for 86% of my flights.

Longest flight: DL DTW-HKG at 7,853mi
Shortest flight: DL DTW-CMH at 155mi

2 things stood out on mine:

42 mile, (34 minute) flight from AVL-GSP a few years ago...........
A ton of ISP flights that no longer exist (PIT, CLT, EWR, ATL)

I'm thrilled I discovered flightmemory when I did. I'm still relatively young (not quite 30), so I've been able to get a fairly complete history in there, and I'm looking forward to maintaining it long-term.

310 flights
338,507 miles flown
756 hours

Top airports: CLT (91), PHL (58), LAX (58)
Top aircraft: A321 (52), A320 (42), 737 (40)

US Airways 58.4% of all flights.

Shortest flight: Latrobe, PA (LBE) - PIT (a good 'ole Pittsburgh hub route!) at 47 miles; longest: EWR-HKG (twice) at 8062 miles.

I do as well, although it's not entirely accurate. I don't have every flight I've ever taken though I have just about every route.

I use it for about the last 5 years of flights...and also double enter into openflights (openflights.org)...I like the map better there but you never know which one will stick around so I use them both ;)

I love FlightMemory!! I definitely want to order a poster as well, but know that with constant travel it will be out of date soon!

I chose to only enter my specific route information to create a route map versus every frequency since I cannot remember that far back. Unfortunately, I dont know how many times I have been to the moon and back like others on here, but at least it tells me what my top airports (for destinations flown) and actual route lines.

It's so fun having a personal airline route map!

I too am a giant fan and refer to it as my other girlfriend because I spend so much time on it. If you don't have premium I highly recommend it as there is a ton of additional information you get.

How do you get it to show your USA, Europe, and World Map on the home page? I cant seem to do that on mine or is that a function of the premium membership?

For some reason, I did the same. But this thread reminded me to get back at it. And as luck would have it, the US website keeps 3 years worth of flight data :)
Simply selected all air activity, then copied/pasted into Excel. Now to enter it all...

Here's what's in there so far:

I had not heard of this site until I read your post a few weeks ago and I just now finally got around to checking it out... holy cow its freaking awesome :) It was super easy to import my flightmemory info. I love how on the top 10 lists you can see how many miles you've flown on a certain route or type of plane. And the great circle map exporter is the cherry on top! ^^^
