Hi All
First time poster. I’m planning on taking the following flights and wondering will I have enough time to transfer in T1. I get in at 6.55 and the New Zealand flight leaves at 09.50. I will be travelling Qantas so hope to have my bags checked through. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as it’s our honeymoon and I want to be sure I won’t have any issues
QF 2 S 17JAN SINSYD HK2 1950 #0655 Singapore/Sydney
QF 219 S 18JAN SYDZQN HK2 0950 1445 Sydney/Queenstown
Many thanks for your help

Yep you will be fine provided the flights were booked on the one ticket.
Just note QF 219 is operated by Jetstar, so any meals, entertainment will be an extra cost.

...Just note QF 219 is operated by Jetstar, so any meals, entertainment will be an extra cost.Qantas disagrees with you :)
http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/jetstar-information/global/en
Flights Product offering on Jetstar operated flights
Jetstar International
(QF 200-299) Meal Pack (meals and non-alcoholic beverages)
Blanket Pack (blanket, neck support, eye shades and ear plugs)
Headset for audio and in-cabin movies
So QF codeshare on international JQ flights is somewhat similar to QF service level (alcohol is still for purchase, as are video units).

Jetstar Trans Tasman

You will be fine if it is on the same ticket. Believe it or not you can book on the QF12 which arrives at 6:10 and depart on the flight to Christchuch, leaving 1 hour and 5 minutes later. That is just way too tight and would imagine people would miss it every second day (or the Christchurch flight would be delayed waiting for them).
