I have really been struggling with Hyatt lately. Three strikes in a row.

I booked two stays in Bellevue (June 29th & July 1st) The July 1st was booked on the 48hour Hyatt prepaid rate.

I check in on June 29th and they tell me I am staying there for three nights - WRONG. I told them no, my reservation was for 1 night.

July 1st check in no problem, but check out they changed the rate and added $20. (I will now probably have to spend half an hour with accounting to get it fixed).

July 8th - Grand Hyatt DFW. I go to check in and they tell me I have two rooms booked. No just the one thanks.

Any idea who would be changing these reservations. All of them clearly were displayed at Hyatt.com when I checked my reservations. Is it the front desk?

I was sure in the past that they had changed my rate before, but as I often book hotels month or more in advance I just chalked it up to my error. But now thanks to GMAIL I archive my reservations (and the rates) and check them when I feel they are wrong.

I hate to complain over $20, and really hate wasting my time with GP and/or hotel accounting but this is getting rediculous. Who should I complain to the Hotel GM or Gold Passport??

In the future, if you would take printouts of your reservations with you (or have the ability to call them up on your phone), wouldn't you be able to resolve these issues right there when checking in?

I hate to complain over $20

It would be equally accurate to say that the FD is complaining over $20.

Or maybe ask to borrow a house computer and pull up a copy of the confirmation.

Yes, this happened to me at Hyatt Place Overland Park Convention Center last month. The GM finally admitted one of his employees had done it because they didn't have the type of room they confirmed.

Told him I had stayed at his hotel for the last time.

My past two Hyatt stays have had unexplained changes to the reservations. Both were booked directly on Hyatt.com. One reservation got changed to a different property in a different city and from an award stay to a paid rate. The other one was reduced from 3 nights to 1. On both occasions, I learned of the errors when attempting to check in, but fortunately the properties had available rooms.
