Club Carlson - No option to book award stay at Radisson Blue Chicago??

Trying to book a few nights at the Radisson Blue Chicago, rooms are available but Gold points and cash and points are not. Isn't Club Carson's policy to offer choice of points if standard rooms are available? Anyone else have difficulties trying to redeem CC points at the Radisson Blue?

Try contacting the hotel directly for booking with points.
Sometimes there is no availability anymore on the website but if you call them they will still arrange it for you.

Tried booking on CC site looked at multiple dates. July 18-20 and tried dates in Aug. and Sept. Contacted the hotel directly and though they tried to help they could not process award bookings. Contacted CC and again the agent was very helpful but the explanation was that the hotel is very popular and that limited award space is opened up. I think I misinterpreted the sticky On Club Carlson regarding "capacity control". Thanks for clearing up the name.:)

I noticed this too, pretty much no availability through October. And good luck if you want two queen beds. Sucks.
