What cities traditionally have the lowest cost per mile from Minneapolis?

I know we tend to be higher since we are a hub. Not looking for a Mileage run but somewhere I can enjoy for a few days while getting a pretty good CPM.

I have seen San Juan, PR (Which does seem like a good option as I scuba dive) for about $300

Thanks for your help

There's something on DL from MSP to Guyana posted recently in mileage run deals. Not sure that this would be your style, but it is one of the few deals that I've heard about recently.

The MSP-GEO fare is amazing. I actually have an interest in going there and have been checking fares for over a year. The current autumn fares around $400 are less than half the lowest fare I have seen before. Trying to work out the timing to do it.

It's not a destination that appeals to a lot of people. I read a book about the Guyanas and became intrigued with the area. Wish DL flew to PBM instead of, or in addition to, GEO.

I have been following that thread. If I can figure out a good way to get to the falls there, I may just pack up my camera gear and give that a go.

I've seen decent fares on MSP-SFO in the past but according to ITA the lowest I see is $378 rt ai for 2-3 day visit.

I've seen a few fares to Honolulu for about 8.5 cpm. Not great, but from MSP not horrible. And I could think of worse places to MR :)

Using Matrix will help you find dates that work.

7.7 cents per mile to Hawaii sounds pretty good

I would be patient... there are sometimes decent fares ex MSP (I posted a few to SEA and PWM earlier in the summer, although I see none now)... Or look at airports that are cheap to get to at times (STL, ORD, DEN) and look for deals that way.

This currently has some interesting and unique routing options that may be worth working on....
DL: MSP-STT
-not sure of its value....more work required....

*edit...I took a closer look, and forced overnights probably make this unattractive.....
