PokerHammy Jul 9, 12, 4:21 pm Did PH Paris limit the award room type to Park Queen only? I was able to book a Park Twin room last month but I needed the dates changed. Today I checked 30 some dates until the end of schedule and only Park Queen award is available. Was there a recent policy change? folex386 Jul 9, 12, 5:34 pm You should be able to book a Park twin, if available. I also did a random revenue room search and a park twin never appeared. Perhaps they're holding those back? Not sure why, but if it's bookable as a revenue room, you should be able to book it as an award night, they just don't appear to have them bookable. If I were you I would book Park Queen just to secure award availablity, and then call the property directly to change to a twin bedded room. Standard rooms essentially come out of the same inventory - the bedding configuration is more of a 'preference'. My point was more that it may be unnecessary to wait for a twin room to become available on line. Hotels often can change a reservation to king or twin bedded even if this availablity does not show online. Again, I suggest you contact the hotel directly to see if they can do this for you. |
