Hi
I am flying from WLG to NAN via AKL. The flight is one ticket issued by QF with QF flight numbers, but are actually on JQ for WLG-AKL and then FJ for AKL-NAN.
1) Reading the JQ website it seems they will interline the baggage to a QF flight, but as the website is mainly aimed at OZ passengers does this apply in NZ?
2) If we need to get boarding passes at AKL can we check-in at the QF business class area or do we need to go to the FJ check in?
3) As a WP I am assuming we can use the QF lounge at AKL and I am hoping we can use the lounge in NAN.
Any help much appreciated.

1) Yes they should interlien your bags to NAN.
2) You will need to pick up the boarding pass from the FJ desks at AKL
3) You should be able to use the lounge, but I am not certain about that since the end of "anytime" access.
You will only be able to access the lounge in NAN if you are a J class passenger or Tabua Club member.

As a WP travelling on a QF ticket with a QF flight number you'll get access to the Qantas first lounge in Auckland.
In Nadi as a WP flying on a Qantas codeshare on Air Pacific you'll get access to the Tabua Club Lounge.
See http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/lounge-locations/nadi-fiji/international/associated-lounge-tabua-lounge/global/en
You'll only get access to Air Pacific's premium business lounge if you are flying business class.

Many thanks to all. I had never seen that link on website to the lounge guide, so useful information for the future.

Here is an update on what happened on the flight out.
At JQ check-in in WLG they refused to interline the bags. I showed them the JQ web page with the interline details to FJ and they just said the web page was wrong. Refused point blank.
At the FJ check-in (I did try the QF business check in, but as expected they said no) no problems, apart from they said we had no access to the QF lounge. So just went to the QF lounge and as expected no problems getting entry.
Let's see what happens on the return trip at NAN and entry to the lounge there.
The closure of the Akarana lounge in AKL is a pain as there is a 5 hour wait for the flight back to WLG. When I planned this trip the lounge was still open and the 5 hour wait seemed bearable.

Update for NAN to AKL
Check-in at NAN was a breeze as we were allowed to use the FJ Business class check-in, even though travelling economy. By showing the WP card also able to jump to front of immigration and security queues.
Entry to FJ Lounge was no problem, and we were reminded of the lounge at the check-in.
Again on boarding allowed to board as business class and avoid the long queue to board the B747.
The biggest surprise was at AKL domestic. The old Akarana lounge as we know is closed. Well at the moment this just means the door has been removed (or maybe just permanently open) and you can just go in and use all the nice and comfy seats etc. Just like the lounge is still there, but no bar or food. A nice surprise. This was mentioned by the JQ check-in staff when we checked in as I mentioned we had a long wait with no lounge, and she said just go up and use it.
Not sure how long the lounge area will remain like that though.
