Question, will this be a problem?
We are renting 4 cars from west palm beach this summar and I reserved all 4 cars under my name but I'll be driving only 1. I'll add additional drivers for the other cars.
will this be a problem?
What I read is that for emerald club, one additional fee is waived, is that correct?

It could present a problem if you are checking out the cars at the same time. Unless the cost is drastically different, why don't you get the other 3 drivers to sign up for Emerald Club and make the reservations under their names / Emerald number. That would make it cleaner and could possibly be cheaper without the possible additional driver fees.
For Emerald Club members, people who reside in the same residence (same address on their driver's licenses) are automatically authorized as additional drivers.

I don't see why it should be a problem as long as he is covered insurance wise.
of course it would look odd but he most probably wants the credits!

where can i find it stated and is there age restrictions?

It's far from a certainty that he'd get the rental credits anyways since they are overlapping from the same location.

I have taken out rentals before and got the credit with no problem from hertz so i highly believe they all work the same concerning applying points for double rentals!

Thanks it says,
"Never pay extra when family members and business associates do the driving."
So i guess you do not have to be residing at the same address! just in case be able to prove you are immediate family member or work for the same corp.

No... You DO have to reside at the same address. Read the actual terms and conditions section on authorized drivers rather than their marketing catch line and you will see for yourself.

Quick question...My spouse is needing a rental car, but I will not be there when the car is picked up. Can I still rent the car, add them on as an additional driver and get the credit? Or is this going to cause a problem at the booth?

You need to be present to check out the car.

The contract says:
"Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the Vehicle may only be driven by you
or an Additional Authorized Driver. An "Additional Authorized Driver" is an
individual who (i) is a capable and validly licensed driver for the type of Vehicle
being rented, (ii) is at least 21 years of age (a young renter fee may apply for
drivers under age 25), (iii) has your prior permission to drive the Vehicle, and (iv) 7
is either a member of your immediate family who permanently resides with you,
or a fellow employee who drives the Vehicle for business purposes. You will not
allow use of the rental vehicle by any driver in violation of the requirements set
forth above. Your immediate family members includes your parent, child, spouse
or a domestic partner. In addition to the above, Additional Authorized Drivers
who otherwise meet National’s qualifications can be added at the time of rental.
The Additional Authorized Drivers and you are referred to collectively in the
Agreement as Authorized Driver(s). "
If my rental says:
Inclusive Rate Items
Guaranteed Base Rate Included
(4) Additional Driver Included
Unlimited Miles Included
Does that mean adding additional drivers is free (as long as they meet rental qualifications)?

This means you can add 4 drivers to the contract for free. This means they would have to be manually added at the counter, and is different than the free family member benefit you get with EC membership-- drivers who qualify under that do not need to be specifically added to the contract.

Can you do it over the phone ahead of time by providing the DL# of the other drivers, for simplicity?

No - they want to see the physical drivers licenses.

I did have similar concerns that they (National) would flag this as odd. so I went ahead and cancelled 2 cars under my name. I hope we don't have a issue with 2 cars renting at the same time from same location.
I mean, there are people with big families who reside in different address and have different last names.

This now appears on standard EC (5007125) contract bookings.
