Marriott Rewards (including Ritz-Carlton) - Sanya Marriotts Hotels (Councierge Lounge?)

Hello,

First time post here, sorry for the thread if this has been asked before. Currently a Marriott plat elite and I am looking to redeem some stays at Sanya-Hainan (either Marriott or Renaissance)

I checked the Marriott web site and it does not seem like either one has a Concierge Lounge for Elite to get some complimentary breakfasts or snacks.

Does anyone know for sure whether either property provides a complimentary breakfast for elite members for rewards nights?

probably won't matter if they do since both hotels are listed as "resorts"

and, as you might have read in other threads, resorts are not required to provide brekkie to gold/plats
Outside the U.S. and Canada, you are entitled to continental breakfast 7 days a week. (Not available at resort locations.)

That being said, most asian hotels do not follow this rule so it will be of interest for listing in Sharon's sticky if either hotel does..............

If you stay at either property, please report back on whether you were offered breakfast or anything else due to status? As noted, most resorts are exempt but some do go above & beyond. I'll then update the exec lounge sticky. Thanks!

Someone on tripadvisor noted recently, that he/she is a silver member, and they were upgraded plus given 10-15% discounts for restaurants, spa and other services to be used at hotel. This was at Renaissance sanya.
