It is important to know what the guide is and what it is not.
It is organized according to the Doubletree website, which is why there appears to be no organization at all.

Also this is a list of properties that have/don't have executive "floor" rooms. Properties may have executive floor rooms but no lounge. Also some properties have ELs but don't list executive floors in their description. As I do not have the time to go and make dummy bookings at every property, I'll leave it to y'all to correct me in the thread. If you do see something wrong, please tell me and date your experience so I can make the proper changes.

Stayed here last September. They used some empty hallway space and what might once have been a room on the top floor as an exec lounge. Good hors d'oeuvres.

Nice start but I have a couple of comments:

1) Why limit the scope of work to only Doubletrees?

2) Why not build on information that's already out there?

Yes - The Doubletree KL Malaysia DOES have an exec lounge. Quite nice.

Spokane, WA - No Exec Lounge or Floors. Called last week to confirm before my stay this weekend.

I think this is a dying trend, and DT's are removing the lounge with each new renovation.

Good point. I find very few DT properties have lounges and most are closed on weekends.
Stayed at DT Irvine Spectrum/SNA on 7/8/12 and can confirm no lounge.

Wouldn't it be more simple to just list (the very few) DT properties that have a lounge rather than list each one that does not have a lounge ?

Because there are properties that have a lounge, DT DFW North, that do not list on their page.

Doubletree Wichita lounge is closed this month because it is a slow period, according to the front desk.

Did they reopen it? I was there a couple of months and they said it was closed.

Sorry, scratch that. I stayed there prior to your last stay.

This week, I stayed at the Doubletree Cleveland South Independence. They had a lounge but it was hardly open. No weekends for sure but closed after 7:30pm and wasn't open on a Thursday morning at 7:00AM. No posted times either :(
