Canada - Irish Citizen looking for a Working Holiday Visa for Canada!!

Hi, recently I have been wrecking my head trying to suss out the process for applying for a Working Holiday Visa for Canada - it is ridiculously difficult :(

I am a 27 year old female with an Irish Passport and am looking to go in the summer of 2013 for as long as possible on a working holiday visa. I have all of the forms printed off for the IEC (so I can have them correctly filled out before i fill it out online) but it says the quota for 2012 is now full. Can I continue to apply now or should I wait until the new quota opens for 2013. My boyfriend got his visa on the 7th July 2012 so he has 1 year to use it and I want to get mine in time to go with him :)

Any help on this would be much appreciated. :)

I'd say you have to call the high commission in London and ask if the 2012 applications are held until the next quota year or if they are all rejected and one has to wait until 2012 opens.
