bmi diamond club - Diamond Club *S Expired Early, so no BA Status Match

I had DC *S through my work - like an auto upgrade. My Star Alliance DC card had an expiry date of 07/12 but when they sent out the non * version it expired at the end of 05/12! Just a few days after I got it (and my online account reverted to Blue too)
Because of this I can't get BA to status match me (just as I've started flying on the BHD-LHR route again!)
I have contacted DC who were, sadly, as much use as a chocolate teapot. I think the only response I got was from someone at BA telling me my Exec Club status was correct
Does anyone know of anything I can do? Even if I could just get the original term to end of July at least then I could get matched to BA Silver.

This has been reported in several threads, both in respect of BA matches and other Star Alliance programs. It should be noted that the expiry date on your Diamond Club card is irrelevant. It's the year end date of your online Diamond Club account that matters.

For reference, read this....

The same applies to BA matches too.
your Diamond Club end date would likely have been end of May 2012 if that is what was on the new card (your online account will show your year) As said the end date of the card was always later to allow them time to get the new card to you

You can get a Status Match with A3 by sending in a pdf scan of your online account if you are BD Gold, although that said I haven't seen any successful matches reported yet for Silver. Nevertheless, based on the same principle I can't see why BA shouldn't accept the same pdf scan. However, if what you are saying is that your Silver status has expired, rather than just your card, then you are going to struggle.
To confirm previous posts its the status of your account that should count and not your card. DC's idiotic card replacement strategy means I have a card that expired 06/12 but my online account now correctly shows that I am Gold until 2013 following the year end renewal.

A3 Silver given to me (hoooray. not.) despite card saying Gold (online/their data supposedly said Silver)
