Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Business Class on IST-TLV

Hello All:

I will be taking a trip to Tel Aviv in August, and while most of the time I usually fly the Lufthansa group I am considering trying Turkish Airlines Business Class this time around. I tried to look for some information online, but my search was pretty much fruitless. I was wondering if anybody from the flyertalk community traveled with Turkish Airlines to Tel Aviv in business class and can shed some light on what can be expected.

My biggest concern is that the business class seats are pretty much like the business class seat on Lufthansa's european fleet. In other words, they would be like economy seats with the middle seat left empty, not that much leg room.

On a smaller note, I wasn't able to find anything about toiletry kits. Does Turkish Airlines provide them or would the flight be too short to provide these things. Not a big deal, but my significant other is a collector of these items.

TK uses a mix of a/c to TLV including wide bodies depending on loads, though a narrow body is more likely. Have a look here for the photos of the different seating possibilities:

Anyway, it's a short flight, even if you get the economy seats with the middle seat left empty you are better off than having to endure the LH NEK seats;)

Does anybody have an idea of how many aircrafts does TK have with the old business class configuration? I find myself yet again having to decide on a carrier for another upcoming trip to TLV and I wonder what are the chances of getting the old business "economy" class seats....
