Did a search and could not find something on this...
My wife and I plan to fly the 777ER on SQ 1 and 2 back and forth between SFO and HKG next year. A few questions:
1. I half-assume that the best seats for a couple are in the middle in row 2, since they're next to each other and a bit farther than row 1 is from any galley noise. Do I have that right?
2. A bit more specifically, are the middle seats set up in such a way that you can easily talk to each other? Or do you really have to lean forward quite a bit to be able to converse? If the latter, we might be inclined to simply both go for window seats.
3. I'm not at all sneezing at SQ F and am delighted to be flying it, but it looks as though, unlike some other airlines (e.g., CX), the set-up is such that one person cannot sit on the foot rest across from the other one. So you cannot drink and dine facing each other. Do I have that right?
Thanks for any advice on these or any related matters I should be aware of.
