Just show your boarding pass to the next lounge you would like to visit if you are SL or above or taking J / F.

you can also ask them to stamp your boarding pass with a Lounge Re-entry stamp.

Yes and I believe they would need to register the guest's BP as well.

I'm not sure if technically they're supposed to, but in practice they never seem to ask for my companions' BPs.

Yes and I believe they would need to register the guest's BP as well.

I have bought numerous clients/colleagues into the lounge with me. Never once did they ask for BP.

No, No boarding pass being recorded, not even asked.

Well...during the few times I used this privilege they checked my guest's BP about half of the time, but then I have only ever used this benefit a few times.

now i'm quite confused...
so i think the best way is to request a stamp on my boarding pass with a Lounge Re-entry stamp as well as my guest?

ChrisLi

if you are the member: You don't really need the re-entry stamp, it clearly state you are SL / GO / DM anyway

if you are the guest and intend to go back after, may be sending off your friend : the re-entry stamp probably will gain you access back to the lounge, but I never tried.

I wouldn't have considered this a 'problem'. Hence I've changed the title to 'questions'.

Purely by habit, I tend to go to the Wing, but I was on a QF flight and met some people at the Cabin. How good is this, cutting edge stuff, and if you gauge a lounge by their toilets or their food, this place will blow you away. Highly recommend all of CXs lounges, maybe the Dragon air one is a bit ordinary.

I just did my lounge hoping today.

1. Wing for Breakfast, namely wonton and dan dan noodle, simply awesome
2. Credit Cards (Citi PreMiles / CX Amex Plat) to go Plaza Premium Lounge for 15 min seated massage x 2, the massage is so good
3. Cabin for smoked salmon, the salmon today seems bit off hard hard ... not as great as usual. the carrot juice is good though ... but crowded
4. Qantas for a proper, quiet lounge that I can relax for a while. Qantas lounge is not good at all in terms of food in morning hour compare to all others, but it definitely has the least traffic

all done in 2 hours :p

Hi ChrisLi, that's some great lounge hopping. Are you in the F section or J section?

Also didn't try out the Pier? Is it because it's too far away? :)

Yeah,I quite enjoyed my tour de lounges at Hkg recently too.
The cabin is lovely. The pier is a tad dark and more formal.
Both had good food and beverage choices.

The wing was my favorite.Their new coffee loft is heaven, great great coffee.
I liked the long bar and the temporary first section [while they renovate] does have nice people who will fetch from the long bar for you :D

The noodle bar is good also, made to order and they give you these battery operated things that flash red when your order is ready...in case you've helter skeltered back to the long bar.
The staff were among the nicest, most helpfull I've encountered in a lounge anywhere.

Sorry, but what is your point? To show off? OP has said that he is GO, and in fact DMs can access any CX / KA departure lounge (except the F part) irrespective of airline flying, so not limited to The Cabin, either.

Any issues with a guest being on a different flight? Flying KA F from HKG and hoping to bring in a friend departing on another flight a few hours later.

As long as it isn't overrun by people with "credit card access", last time I tried to use it I left in 2 minutes after I can't even find any seat in the lounge...

No issue whatsoever. They don't check the guest's boarding pass, in fact, they don't check the guest at all. As long as you point at the guy and say: "he's my guest", and you are GO, they will just nod and let both of you in.

Is the poster MPC GO? If so, that is the case. Otherwise, the agent may ask for the guest's BP.
