Hi all,

I'm about to book a "P" Class fare on AA and was wondering if this class earned the 25% Bonus Miles?

"P" Class is "First Special" aka non-refundable. I checked AS's website and there is no mention of P at all (or F for that matter).

Side note...these P Class fares offer wonderful value I feel. I'm looking at LAX-MIA and prices compare (mid $400.00's) to what you might find on AS F LAX-SEA.

Thanks for any help!!

Mark

Looks like they just copy and pasted from the section on Business fares. My guess is it would earn like they earn on DL

"First Class Cabin: Earn actual flight miles* flown in F, A or P classes of service, plus 50% Bonus Miles."

I called in a few days ago over this issue and got an agent who just parroted back what was on the webpage. When I pointed out this appeared to be a typo as only business fare classes were listed and asked for her to double check with a supervisor, she just came back with "we treat them as the same thing"

I think she was wrong and I believe Aaron01 is correct. I hope AS clarifies the webpage.

AA and DL have been having some really stellar premium cabin fares this spring and summer. Enjoy!
