Hi All,

I am landing Malpensa airport on July 10 @ 7; 35 am and leaving 3 pm for Istanbul so roughly I have 7 hours, any suggestion what to do in this time period.

Thanks

Check your bags, take the bus or train into Milan, go to the City Center and see the Duomo and do some shopping, grab a sandwich and an espresso and catch your aternoon flight. It's about a half hour train to Piazza Cadorna, from there a ten minute subway to the Duomo station, and the Duomo is quite beautiful (inside and out). The nearby Galleria is worthy of a visit and there are great shops (though some very expensive ones) nearby especially on Via Spiga (fashion street).

Giving yourself an hour each way and getting back two hours early you could spend a few hours in downtown Milan that would be much more fun than anything you could do at Malpensa.

Excellent advice. The Galleria is called Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, it's in the same square as the Duomo. If you have time go to the top of the Duomo, take the lift not the stairs depending on the lines and how long it takes you to get to the city centre from MXP.
