I have been travelling extensively for work for the past year and a half, after graduating college in 2010. I have built up a nice little portfolio of 250k points in that time, and am looking forward to using my points to pay for my honeymoon next year. The other day I had an epiphany, and for some reason recalled the first time I called to book a hotel after starting with my company. They had told me there were 2 accounts under my name, and I realized that I had already started a MR account years ago when I was doing minimal leisure travel with friends/family. So I called the Rewards Customer Service line a couple days ago and was told that there were indeed 2 accounts under my name, and after verifying my identity, she told me she would transfer all of the points into my primary account. I woke up yesterday morning to find a transfer of 40k points into my account. What a nice little surprise and gets me that much closer to the points needed for my honeymoon!
