I just check for Shanghai, there is no Renaissance that accept Ctrip points???

Ctrip points are nearly useless IMO, but it's worth dropping ~3,000 once a year to get VIP status. This permits you to hold hotel reservations without a credit card, and pay for airplane tickets at the airport, though the latter is slightly hard to invoke at times.
