From where?

Perth has good connections from Asia, especially, but if you were coming from the USA then you'd be coming from Sydney mainly.

Perth enjoys very hot summers (Dec-Mar) with Dec/Jan being the warmest months.

Summer though will be the most expensive, so generally if you can head between say March/April or October/November it maybe cheaper for you.

PER is in the middle of a big mining boom, causing hotel rates to have doubled in the past few years and many flights to PER are sold out even with very expensive fares. So it really depends on your routing, but in general there is no "low" season for airfares. SIN-PER is probably the cheapest airfare but you'll see big differences between airlines.
