Hello Everyone...

I am planning on travelling to India in November (but need to pruchase seats now for work), from Toronto to New Delhi, with my young children, on Premiere/Business class. Flight dates are Nov 1st-30th.

Does anyone here know what seat configuration Jet Airways uses on the Toronto-Delhi route, whether they are the slanted/herringbone configuration of seats, or if they are the forward facing, non-pod seats (2 x 2 x 2) in business class?

I did call Jet Airways, and the people attempted to be quiet helpful, but one thought it was herringbone, the other thought they were forward facing.
Seatguru shows 2 configurations for the A330-200, one with herringbone, and one with forward facing 2 x 2 x 2 seats.

I do have 2 young children, and woudl not want them to be in the individual pods, I would prefer to sit with them (thus would not use Jet if the herrigbone seating was in place,a nd woudl prefer to but the more expensive Air France and KLM seats for business class).

If anyone coudl let me know ASAP, I would appreciate it, as I do need to purchase tickets, thanks very kindly for your help...

Wirelessly posted (Samsung Galaxy S: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.6; en-us; SGH-T959V Build/GINGERBREAD) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Nothing prevents the airline from changing equipment at any time before your departure.
If you absolutely don't want saets most people prefer, you will be better of with KLM.

Jet has 3 configs of 332's. 2 are 18 seater premiere, 1 is 30 seat premiere. If your seat map shows 10 rows in biz class it's 30 seater premiere which is only herringbone. To the best of my knowledge both DEL BRU and BRU YYZ vv sectors operate with 18 seater, so you have a 50/50 chance of forward facing v herringbone. Herringbone 18 seater has 6 rows, while forward facing has 3 rows. Either ways it's unlikely all your flight will operate as forward facing. Having said that I've seen many families fly on the herringbone taking seats 1 behind the other (eg 1A, 2A, 3A). I am partial to it but it's a very comfortable seat, much better than angle lie flat on AF. It's a shame AI ops are so uncertain else their fully flat forward facing biz on a nonstop would be a great option for you, but not recommended given their current state.
