Thanks. cordelli Jul 6, 12, 8:52 am Welcome to Flyertalk. In most cases, Tumi will cost the same no matter where you go. There's not much discounting going on. There is currently an end of season sale going on so you may get lucky, check the website to see if what you are looking for is included, so you know what you can get it for online before you go in. The sale does include some Alpha stuff. There's also a Tumi Outlet store in the Seattle Premium Outlets, it's hit or miss what they have and how stuff is priced, but sometimes you can get incredible deals, sometimes not so good. Check if they will offer a warranty or not if you shop at the outlets, some of their stuff does not come with the warranty, some does. CApreppie Jul 6, 12, 10:44 am You'll also find Tumi luggage at Nordstrom Rack (their "outlet") - but I think it usually is close out. Victorinox is sold more places - so you might have better luck getting discounts. It is sold by Macys and most of the indie luggage stores. You can try - can you beat this price... Gardyloo Jul 6, 12, 11:00 am There's a Tumi shop at the Tulalip outlet mall. (http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=71) I've found Bergman's to be pretty competitive overall. Don't forget the sales tax when comparing to (some) online sources, or purchases made in Oregon. ;) Yamato1 Jul 6, 12, 11:26 am Thanks for the advice all. I'm going to be in Santa Rosa, Seattle (Southcenter) and Chicago (outlying areas). Unfortunately, I will be staying in Seattle for one night, and am not sure if it will be my while to go from Southcenter all the way to Tulaip. Anybody have any advice for the Chicago? I heard there's a place called Irv's? Thanks again. Don't think it would be worth it. Here's the link to Bergman's: http://www.bergmanluggage.com/tumi.html. Don't know what their prices are like, sorry.
