U.K. and Ireland - 6 July 2012: Tickets for The View from the Shard go on sale

Hi Everyone,

I'm sure many will want to visit to see a great view of London.

The experience will cost £24.95 for adults and £18.95 for children, and will open to visitors from February 1, 2013.

Seems a bit pricey to me...but to each their own.

£25 for a view from the Shard? I've enjoyed better views from planes where the tickets were barely twice that - and at least I got to go somewhere in the process.

£25 to go to the top of a rather mediocre skyscraper??? As you say, each to their own.
