Hilton HHonors - Any benefits for multiple mixed rooms on same account?

Both of us are Gold members.

We need to book 3 rooms with cash & points and 2 rooms by paying regular rates for the same stay. Is there any benefits to booking all on the same member account? (any benefits for a potential upgrade?)

You can only get points for two rooms if they are on the same reservation/folio and paid by one person. So each gold member could reserve rooms between them to maximise points earning.

Upgrades may or may not be extended to extra rooms. Upgrades are for the Honors member with status but some hotels will extend the upgrade to all rooms but YYMV. Do not expect all the benefits to be extended to everyone in all rooms (breakfast, internet, ect) as these are for the Honors member with status, but, the hotel can extend perks to anyone they choose. Expect nothing and be happy with any extras.

With all the earnigs changes you ned t see if the points+cash option earns points.
