Asiana Club - ICN transit question

Hi all,

i have an important question

currently flying IAH-LAX-ICN-SPN.
Got my boarding passes for IAH-LAX (UA) and LAX-ICN (TG). HOWEVER
bags only checked in to ICN. I am only in transit overnight though! and I have a booking at the airport transit hotel.
I was told I now need to go to immigration, get my bags and then leave the airport and RE-CHECK IN for the next morning.
How on earth can I do this??
Can I grab my bags and immediately re-check in at 7pm for a 850am flight the next morning?
I have liquids so could not only carry on.
My main concern is once I leave the transit area will I be screwed over and not allowed to check back in until the next morning and thus with no boarding pass, no way to get to my transit hotel (plus a bag full of liquids)
advice asap plz?

To use the ICN transit hotel, it's true that you will have to thru-check in your luggages to SPN. This can be done without a boarding pass I believe-just let TA @ IAH know your OZ PNR and put the destination of bag tag to SPN. Don't think it will trigger any cabotage issue.
