I thought this was pretty interesting. I had no idea the flight attendants go thru this sorta training.

Yes. Compare that to an American carrier which averages just 7 weeks of training and maybe one day is dedicated to 'service', you get the picture!

CX's training is almost as long... At 3 months I think.

Singapore air does it right.... I would love to find out how long Deltas training is, and what it consists of.

Generally North American's carriers focus on safety.. you remeber the jargon.."Flight attendants are here for your safety..."

So the focus is on safety only .. and service is secondary.
