Hey everyone! This is my first post here I hope that I posting this in the right place. What's going on with the fares from JFK to YVR?? I've been paying anywhere from $500-$600 and now its over $1,000. Is this peak season? I might have to fly AC from EWR as its only $700 with them. So what's up?

Hello and welcome to Flyertalk and the Cathay Pacific Asia Miles forum..
Its probably due to the fact that its peak season for travel to/from asia and the flight's first priority is to offer seats and fares for HKG bound passengers and v.v. So what ever is left is then made available for the JFK-YVR market.
Try booking on CX's website. They may have better fares.

I figured it was something. That is right on Cathay's site. I'm not even able to get my corporate travel discount either. Hmm..guess I'll just wait and see.
