I booked this room for $62 during the 35% off sale recently. It was a mattress run though I did stay for a few hours to take a nap and take a break from a long road trip.
I was enthusiastically greeted as a Club Carlson Elite ("oh, Miss P, you're the gold Elite we've been expecting!"). As with my stay at Radisson recently, I received an upgraded room and a welcome gift. In this case, the welcome gift was a bag with popcorn, an apple, a granola bar, and a water bottle.
The room at the Country Inn was very nice. The pillows were good, and linens were just fine (though not as nice as Radisson's). I was upgraded to a king suite which had a large living room, nice desk, and very nice bathroom. The hotel was just off I-70 so not a lovely location, but it would be a pleasant stay if one needed to be in this area.
Overall, the Radisson promotions have got me feeling very favorably about the chain.
