I'm thinking of visiting the Newark int'l antique fair next month with the OH (http://www.iacf.co.uk/newark/).

Has anyone been to this and can offer tips on the best day/time to go? We're interested in picking up some furniture and wondered if going towards the end of the event will be better when dealers/vendors try and offload stuff. However, that might backfire if there isn't much stuff remaining by the second afternoon. It might be impossible to park if we leave it 'til later as well..?

Any hints or tips are much appreciated.

Newark often pops up on the daytime antiques and collectable TV shows, where 'experts' compete against each other. They seem to imply that the best stuff is found at the start of the day, so I'd set the alarm clock:D
It seems to be huge, so it might take all day to peruse it, so you could take both options!!;)

Thanks measures!

I guess I should start watching daytime TV antiques programmes to get in training...
