Hello all,
I booked my ticket through a TA a few months ago. Was going to checkin online today then realised my first/middle names have been joined together with no spaces! It should be spelt "First Middle Middle Last" but on usairways.com it appears as "Firstmiddlemiddle Last". Oddly, on the TA's site and also on checkmytrip.com it does appear to be spelt correctly with the spaces in the appropriate places.
Does anyone think this will be a problem? If they try to query at the airport I still have the original booking showing it was booked with the correct name but can't figure out why this happened. My name is quite long, so might they have done it to try and make it fit altogether?

This is not a problem at all. Sometimes when checking in/viewing booking with certain airlines etc. they will group it into two parts (i.e. Firstmiddle Last or First Middlelast). It is a very normal thing to be seeing and doesn't have any effects whatsoever. Enjoy your flight ^

It happens over at KLM sometimes too. Not a problem, just one of those things they do to cause us unnecessary stress and, I suppose, make the whole name fit or at least more of it fit.

It happens to United tickets on LH as well.
The segments on LH have the first and middle names together

I just booked a ticket on Delta for the first time in a couple years, and they don't even have a place to enter your middle name, despite the fact that my full middle is on my ID.
I think as long as your TSA "secure flight" info matches what's on your ID, it's not a big deal what format your name is on your BP. I know that on US, my wife has a long middle name, so it always comes out as "Last FirstMidd..." with the middle cutoff halfway through the name. Never a problem.

What does matter is that the name on the ticket matches exactly the name in your US profile if you are Preferred and want an upgrade. I learned this the hard way when I had to use corporate travel and they booked me using my middle initial and not my full middle name which is what is in my profile. I watched the F seats disappear and didn't upgrade.

I've had my name in all sorts of combinations and I've always gotten in the upgrade queue (not always upgraded, but I've gotten the emails, checked when I check-in at airport, etc).
So long as your DM# is on the booking, it should work.
And my name always appears FIRSTM with no space on my US bookings, when First and MI are used.

That is what I was told when I called the CP desk when a flight that should have upgraded didn't. The agent told me the name must match EXACTLY along with DM#. Those were her words (she might have been wrong). Ever since that time I have made sure my name matches. See the other post about the emails. I am now finally getting the emails for the first time ever!
