Virgin Atlantic Flying Club - Carry on Rimowa Salsa Air Cabin Multiwheel® IATA on Virgin Atlantic?

Hi,
I'm flying with Virgin Atlantic transatlantic (747) and according to their site you're allowed to carry on hand bags that measure: 23 x 36 x 56 cm.

However, the Rimowa that I'm bringing is 20 x 40 x 55.

My question is how strict are they, and should I bring another you think?

Thanks in advance.

john0hansen, welcome to FlyerTalk. As this is specific to Virgin Atlantic, I'll move this thread to FlyerTalk's dedicated forum on that airline. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator, TravelBuzz.

Very strict, they make low cost airlines look good. Best thing is to try and checkin online and avoid any contact with the desks as they will weigh your bag and possibly measure it.

I agree with Silver Fox -- plus, bear in mind the miserly weight limit (just 6kg in Y and PE).

BTW, that is the most intriguing post title I've seen in a long while. ^ :)
